The 7th Middle East International Refining and Petrochemicals Conference and Exhibition (Middle East Petrotech 2010) concluded having attracted a total of 3,150 trade visitors and conference delegates. Representing a significant 14% increase in attendance over the 2008 event, feedback from exhibitors was highly positive with 82% of those surveyed rating the quality of attendees as excellent or good.
The exhibition attracted the participation of 125 companies from 24 countries. Covering 5,200 square metres of space, it showcased flagship stands from regional refining and petrochemical giants including Bapco, KNPC, Petro Rabigh, Saudi Aramco and QP.
International oil companies and service industry majors also maintained a strong presence at Petrotech 2010, with ABB, Air Liquide, Dow, ExxonMobil, and Yokogawa occupying significant exhibition space. Smaller specialist companies and a dedicated UK pavilion consolidated this line up.
Petrotech was a great place to put our brands in front of key buyers as well as end users. We also were able to connect our distributor with some potential new business.
